Black Hills Alpacas hosted a neo-natal clinic with DVM Jackie Woks in August 2005. It was invaluable information for the new breeders as well as seasoned veterans in the alpaca business. Jackie covered care and nutrition along with birthing, body scoring, cria care, plus birthing problems and how to detect and correct them. We want to thank Jackie for presenting a wonderful clinic. Everyone had a great time, with lots of food and good conversation and networking. We also want to thank all the participants who attended this clinic. We will offer additional educational clinics throughout the year.
