Castro is a wonderful light fawn colored Huacaya herd sire with great conformation, superior presence and incredible fiber from the tip of his tail extending up his neck and into his bonnet. Castro has a terrific ability to produce colored offspring even when bred to white dams. He is currently producing over 90% colored crias, no matter what color the dam! Year to year, Castro continues to produce an enormous amount of fiber. His fiber analysis shows an average fiber diameter of 25.3 microns, a standard deviation of 4.7 microns and a coefficient of variation of 18.6%. Castro is a domestic sire and the product of a highly sought after union, the son of Peruvian Fidel. Nothing short of outstanding, his top of the line characteristics are sure to add quality to your herd.
